My Favorite Robert Frost Poem
And very fitting for this end o' cherry blossom period.
~~~~~~
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
And of course introduced to a generation of teenagers when it appeared in "The Outsiders".
I am a big fan of Robert Frost. I lean toward "Stopping by Woods" and the "Road Not Taken."
Very nice poem.
I also just wanted to thank you because you once recommended to me to get involved in artomatic and this year I'm participating! The show opens next month! Yay! Thanks for the heads up!
